| Role Summary and Purpose:
The Processing Supervisor is responsible for shop floor coordination of commercial targets for whole-round tilapia and variant premium products, ensuring efficient workflows, managing raw material preparation, and leading section team(s) through various processing tasks. S/he will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the processing plant. |

· Collaborate with partners to streamline harvest and processing workflows.
· Efficiently coordinate daily commercial targets through optimized labor planning. · Manage raw material preparation for smoked and sun-dried salted fish, overseeing task flows. · Ensure section workers are well-resourced with tools and functioning equipment for optimal performance. · Lead filleting tasks for whole-round tilapia, overseeing boning, skinning, trimming, washing, freezing, glazing, packing, and labeling. · Track and ensure accurate D365 conversions for high-value products in operational reporting. · Monitor inventory levels for key inputs (thermal labels and packaging materials) to prevent shortages. · Execute approved workstream procedures to meet expectations and consistent quality outputs. · Implement CAPA plan for continuous improvement in product and process. · Monitor, document, and justify overtime for section staff for effective cost management. · Maintain clear and seamless communication with stakeholders regarding key operations status. · Escalate stakeholder threats and equipment breakdowns for proactive action and support. · Collaborate with QCs to maintain hygiene and housekeeping and enhancing food safety and operational efficiency. · Maintain timely, accurate, and complete processing and time documentation. · Oversee workplace conduct, discipline, and staff well-being to enhance performance and accountability. · Ensure strict adherence to existing health and safety practices, standards, and policies. · Perform additional duties as assigned by the Processing Team Lead. |
· Whole-round line throughput at ≥6 tons per hour.
· W&G line throughput at ≥1 ton per hour. · Average filleting throughput at ≥75 kg of raw material per hour per individual. · Fillet yields of 34 – 38%. · W&G yields of 90 – 92%. · Zero batch mixing. |
| Key Qualifications and Work Experience required for the role: | ||
| · Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
· Relevant certifications in fish processing or quality management are an advantage. |

| Skills and Ability needed for the role: | ||
| · Proven experience in fish processing operations or a related field.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills. · Knowledge of HACCP and UNBS regulations. · Ability to analyze and optimize processing workflows. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety. · Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus. |

| Working conditions:
The work environment involves exposure to diverse temperatures and strong fish odors during raw and cured handling. The incumbent will be provided with necessary PPE, required training, and consideration for allergens related to fish, and prioritize employee safety. Optimized schedules and collaboration with processing assistants ensure efficiency and well-being on the shop floor. |
